Hello Allen, Several of my ancestors worked in the silk mills after immigrating to America in the 1800. The Arcadia Publishers used to have a book in their Images of America collection called "Silk City"; however, I do not see where they are still publishing it. Maybe you can find it on ebay. I had written a brief summary from the book and will be happy to email to you if you like. I also have a few photos I copied from it. Unfortunately, I no longer have the book as I gave it to my mom as a present.
