Am in need of some help in finding info on my great grandfather. Malachi and his wife Harriet Whithford are stated as having lived in Paterson and Passaic. He was a constable for the city of Paterson and also worked for the railroad. I have found his obituary of Feb 23 1895 Paterson Daily Press with no mention of his church or burial. I am most interested in determing his place of birth in Ireland.
Arrival in US 1866 with sister Mary.
Marriage to Harriet ~1872.

If I could determine which church they went to a I might be able to obtain relevant records.
