He was a Capt. on the steamboat "Essex" in late 1820's on
the Cohansey and Delaware. Possibly born abt. 1785, maybe
in Pennsylvania. He married in Cumberland Co. in 1806 (Sarah Fich) and my ancestor, Maria Louisa Ross was born
in July 1813. Any leads would be appreciated - I would
especially like to know names of his parents, when and
where he died and any other family members.
