The descendants of Thomas Hildreth of Southampton NY plan a genealogy conference in New Jersey next year. We are aware that several of his descendants left NY for NJ in the 1700s and early 1800s loosing touch with the folks left behind. We would deeply appreciate any advice as to where old records can be found in Salem County as we plan day trips there from a base in Cumberland County.
