Brian, Is this Obidiah Robbins the son that Benjamin Robins mentions in his Will of 1759? According to John W. Taylor's research, Obadiah Robins b.1726 son of Benjamin & Judith Robins had a son & grandson named Obadiah. How do you connect the Obidiah Robbins you name with Cohansey, NJ? Obadiah Robins b.1706, d.1775 son of Richard Robins lived & died at Cohansey. He had no sons. Since some of the descendants of Nathaniel Robins b. 1720, son of Benjamin & Judith Robins lived in Salem Co., it is possible that his brother Obadiah or his descendants also migrated from Burlington Co. to Salem Co. Nathaniel Robins b. 1720 had a son named Obadiah. Have you seen the account of the Robbins family given in "The Fulton Family of Westmoreland County, PA"? It may not relate to your line but it's interesting to find Robbins in Westmoreland County, PA that according to Fulton Family compiler Ernest S. Craighead go back to Richard & Rebecca Robbins of England & Cambridge, MA. Sara Notify Administrator about this message?
