Looking for information on the Joseph and Catherine Long family. Jos and Catherine were born in Germany in 1788 and 1799. Their children were: Joseph 1824 NJ, John 1826 NJ, Christeen 1828 NJ, Elizabeth 1834 NJ and Frances 1838 NJ. They were in Pittsgrove, Salem Co NJ by at least 1830. Appears Joseph died in Cumberland Co NJ living with his daughter Christeen Potts after 1870. Joseph and Catherines son, Joseph jr, married Mary Sweeney in Salem Co NJ in 1845, having another Joseph who married Mary Keen about 1865 there. This Joseph and Mary's daughter Phebe Long married Christopher Sievers in Salem Co about 1885.
