The area is the East side of Pochuck Mountain. The 1811 Deed reads as follows : "....Beginning at a white oak tree marked on four sides with a blaze and three notches standing upon the side of the Black Walnut Mountain on the East side... and Southwest of a small swamp ...to the north of Wm.
