I am looking for the parents of Samuel Shores born in Sussex Co about 1755. He married Polly Stevens from NJ.
He later moved to Newark then to Bradford Co Pa.
His oldest son William was born in Sussex co in Canoe Brook prior to 1780. A second son Joshua was also born in NJ.
There is record of a Chamberlin buying the Shores family farm in around 1795 but no mention of the first name of the Shores.
Can anyone help? It will be greatly appreciated
