I am looking for information about Henry Decker and Mary Swartwood. According to the Reformed Dutch Church in Walpack, Sussex, New Jersey they had the following children:
Anna: born 9-12-1808
Mariah: born 10-12-1812
James W.: born 10-26-1814 (my gg grandfather)
Wilson M.: born 7-15-1819
Hannah M.: born 9-8-1821
William W.: born 5-19-1825
There may have been others but these were the ones listed at the RDC. I know nothing about any of them except James W. who according to PA census records was born in Ohio. The 1850 cenus in Towanda, PA has James, his wife, Sarah Fox , William W., Wilson Monroe and a Morris Decker all living together. The 1840 census had an older woman also living with them I assume she was Mary Swartwood Decker, who died in 1842, buried Cole's Cemetery, Towanda, PA. I am very anxious to learn about Henry and his wife Mary and their parentage etc. I don't know what happed to Henry as he is not listed anywhere after the birth of his son, William Wayne in 1825. If any one has information I would certainly appreciate it. I can be reached at:
