Pat,
His mother's name may have been Sarah and his sister's name may be Elizabeth. Originally I believed he was born in England(as per family memebers)but on the 1920 census, his daughter Emma listed him as being born in NJ. My family is not 100% sure that his 1st name was Anthony, although on Emma's death certifaicate her parents are stated as being Anthony Dixon and Elizabeth Brummer. Anthony died when Emma was only a yr or 2 old, and her mother remarried. Family members said Emma was born in Roselle, NJ, but her death certificate states she was born in Elizabeth. It gets confusing and I really dont have much to go on. I havent been able to find him on any census records. He died abt 1974-5. I had a ten yr search done for his death record and his Obituary, but with no luck, which leads me to believe that his 1st name was not Anthony.
Thank you for replying. If you can shed any light on the subject, I would appreciate it.
Eileen
