Mount Pleasant, NJ - Union County???

Does anyone know if there was a town called Mount Pleasant in Union County in the mid-1800s? I have a marriage announcement saying the marriage took place in Mount Pleasant, pastor was from Rahway. Also, a marriage certificate for another family member gave his place of birth as Mount Pleasant.

The family had ties to Rahway and New Providence. However, they also lived in Middlesex County for several years. I found a Mount Pleasant in Hunterdon, but I have no record of them ever living in that county.
