Joan Meehan was born in Jermyn, PA, the daughter of Daniel E. Meehan and Harriet Mulgrew. She married Elmer Hughes and they were living in Belvidere in 1971, when her father died while living with them. The obit of Daniel E. Meehan states that he was survived by one grandhcild.

Daniel E. Meehan was the youngest brother of my grandfather Patrick J. Meehan.

I would be interested in hearing from the child or other descendants of Joan Meehan and Elmer Hughes to discuss family relationships.
