There is an artical in the Washington Star Newspaper, Washington Warren County New Jersey December 20 1894. It is about the Prall-Cole familes of Scotts Mt.

It shows taht in 1785 Christian Cole and wife settled on Scotts Mt. They had four children, Margaret who married a Humphrey, Elizabeth wife of James Lomerson, William who marred Elizabeth Cole and Christian who married Lena Tnsley. Lena was the sister of the mother of Hon. John I. Blair. Christain and Lena had 11 children, John William, Christopher, Christian,Mary, Catherine, James,Margaret, Elizabeth, Jacob and Samuel. The paper then talks about the chidren of Jacob who married Margaret Prall and had 7 children, Mrs. Latitia Hampton, Lena Bowers wife of J. Clark Bower, Sarah Mershon of Washington NJ, Thomas Cole of Washington NJ, Catherine Ellicott of Cleveland Ohio and Christopher and Jacob of Washington NJ. There is a picture of these 7 siblings. It also states that Margaret Prall Cole had 7 children, 19 grandchildren, 40 Great grandchildren and 2 Great great grandchildren.
