Monroe Kerr, wife Mary Jane, moved to Carlsbad 1892; he was in the mercantile business. He served as mayor, then as County Superintendent of Schools. He died 1908, she died 1912; both occasions were well marked and funerals were well attended. They had 7 children: those who lived in Eddy include - Moses Baine Kerr; Theodore Lowe Kerr married Nora Corn; Mary Antoinette married Harry Christian; and Monroe Thomson Kerr married Martha Jane King.
I am seeking information on any member of this family, their spouses, and descendents. I am the great-great grandson of Monroe P. and Mary Jane.
