I am interested in an obituary or information on John Silas Wood, SS# 366-18-8530. I have reason to believe that he passed away or has family in the Carlsbad area.
John Wood is the last hope of finding any relatives of my Grandmother’s family, Jane WOOD Watters of Allegan Co., Michigan, who were early pioneers into Michigan in the 1830s. John’s father, John Mathew Wood was killed by a drunk driver in Hamtramck, (Detroit) Michigan in 1935. John’s mother, Clara Melissa Wright, remarried and our family lost track of the family during the depression.
Any help would be appreciated.
