Hello Debra...Thank you so much for your response to my post. Your kindness in spending the time to find this info is greatly appreciated. I felt like there would be a Woodley in the 1920 Eddy Co census since A L Woodley was married there in 1921. It is my personal opinion that the William H listed is really Wingate Hall Woodley,jr..A L(Arthur Lee) and Wingate jr are sons of Wingate, sr and Keziah Guice Clark of Harrison Co TX. Wingate jr 12-22-1869..2-17-1949 and wife Addie Mauritzen Woodley 1886-1936 are buried in the Woodley Cem in Marshall, Harrison Co TX. Arthur Lee Woodley is my bro-in-law's Grandfather and a subject of mystery!! who the family seldon talked about. His 1st wife was Kate Greer Timmins and they had 3 children..Arthur Hal(who is my bro-in-laws Father)..Eugenia and John Henry..Arthur Hal and family lived in El Paso, TX. After finding the marriage of A L Woodley and Delila Mauritzen and sending off for it, I'm certain one of the mysteries about him has been solved. Delila was very very young..16..and may have been only 14..she lists her birth date as Sept 18 1905 born in Panola Co TX...but I found info where she later re-married to a Thomas and her SSDI and Tombstone says 1907...A L's date of birth on marriage cert and WW1 reg lists he was born Sept 7. 1875(marriage cert. says born in Marshall, TX)..this date makes him about 10 years younger than he really was..he was really born about 1866 according to the 1870 and 1880 census...I don't know if there is a connection between Delila Mauritzen and Addie Mauritzen Wingate Woodley jr's wife, but very well may be. My bro-in-law believes Arthur Lee died in TX..maybe Longview around 1929...I may be wrong, but I feel that this is his Grandfather...hope to find some more pieces...Thank you again for your helpful info Debra...Rita Antle..
