Texas/?. They had 5 children. That's all I have. Samuel Benton III Cox 1872/1919. Sam's bro was Albert. Sam's father was Sam Cox. Census: 9 JUN 1880 #40-64, Coleman Co, TX: ED 44, age 8 living with parents. Census: 1900 Sutton Co, TX: ED, 70, line 48, age 28, living with bro in law, Charles Turney. Birth: Aug 1871. Moved about 1901 from Sutton Co, TX to New Mexico by wagon train. Census: 15 APR 1910 pg 147, Lower Penasco, Chaves Co, NM: Sam B Jr 38 (1873), TX, married once (1 yr), (2nd) Martha 20 (1890) TX, one child living but not with this family, next door to father Sam Sr and bro Albert Cox. Also bro GW living in Penasco. Death: 1 FEB 1919 in Probably Otero Co, New Mexico of Pneumonia age 30-40. Probate: 3 MAR 1919. File # 232, pg 125, admin Martha E Cox, District Court, 1000 New York Ave, Alamogordo, NM 88310. March 1 1972 birthdate (?) per tombstone.
