Hello;
Hopefully someone can help me.I am trying to determine if the lady listed in the subject line was a half-sister to my late father,Henry Samuel Pearson.
All I have been able to ascertain from her funeral notice in the Topeka Daily State Journal of Topeka,Ks. of Thursday evening,18 Mar.,1926 was her place of death which was Belen,Valencia Co.,NM which was I assume incorrectly listed as Belham,NM and the fact that her body was shipped back to Topeka,Shawnee Co.,Ks where she had previously lived.Obviously what I should have done was obtain a copy of her death certificate from the state of Kansas,but I was hoping maybe there was a newspaper obit floating around somewhere out there.Either that or a funeral home record.
I have been running around in circles for years trying to verify this so I could add what little family info I had to my family history papers & computer program.
Any and all help that I can get would be IMMENSELY Appreciated.
