Dad's info is as follows.His birth name was Henry Samuel Pearson,born on 22 Jan 1908 in Woodward Co.,Okla.He died on 04 Nov 2004 in Kirksville,Adair Co.,Mo.His parents were Charles Brandon Pearson-Eva Estella Hilligoss.His half-sister Ada's parents were Charles Brandon Pearson-Martha Jane Smart.
The family was enumerated in Okla on the 1910 Federal Census of Okla using the alternate spelling of our last name Pierson.By 1920 my specific family had returned to Sullivan Co.,Mo.,namely,my grandparents,dad,and all his surviving siblings.
I have a copy of Daniel VanHuss obit from California stating he was md.in Butte,Mt.on Christmas Day 1941 and moved to Ft.Bragg Cal.in 1963.
I have both the death certificate & newspaper obit for my paternal grandfather Charles Brandon Pearson as I printed them off the newspaper microfilm and Death Index web page.
