Martin Noakes 5/05/01
My name is Ronald Noakes and my fathers name was John William Noakes from Sussex (b.1894 d.1947-8 approx). He served in the Army and was lead rider for the Kings Horse Artillery during World War I. He later served in the Metropolitian Police West Hampstead (NW6). He had relations (a sister) in Hythe, Kent, and a brother in the Canterbury area with a son named Eric who later joined the police force. We have Noakes in Cornwall (our family) and wonder if there are any family connections.
Many thanks, hope this may help!
Ron
