I have a copy of the following Records:I am quoting what I have, as I have them:
"MARRIAGES --- RHEA
Nancy A. Noblett to Thow W. Murray q.v.Peggy Ann Noblett to John Bowman q.vThomas W. Noblett to Elizabeth Casey, Jan 31, 1827, Isaac H. Brown, Bm"
I don't know what "q.v." means, but "Bm" is bondsman.
Thomas W. Noblett was my great, great grandfather:
His son:John A. Noblett
John A's son, Ellsworth, (L.E.)
Ellsworth's son, Leo C, (Sr.)
Leo's son, -- me
I do have more info, but some of it is very confusing.I am currently tracking down Thomas W.'s father, William.
But for that, I don't worry too much about the others, but will offer what I have.I did have some Rhea County records copied.I also used another approach, matching historical events with the Nobletts. The 4 Noblett brothers of the 1721 Cape May landing were Quakers, tracking the Quaker movement helped a lot.
I will offer what I have,But where is William???
