My grandfather was James Wylie Noice (0ne of the twins) mentioned in your note. His mother Melissa Ann Leach and father, William Noice died in 1914 and 1907 respectively and are buried in Rose Hill Cemetery in Bellaire, Ohio. They had 7 sons & daughters: Charles Wesley (1866), Rosa S. (1868), Lemuel Thomas (1870), Lillia Bell (1873), Vincent W. (1876), James Wylie & Dennis Reilly (1879). I have complete history of most of the family down to present. Including Engle Halls, which I downloaded from the internet. William Noice born March 7, 1841, in Marshall Co, Va. (later West Virginia - just south of Wheeling) was listed on some roles as William Nice, including his Civil War Records. I have detailed information about his pension records. I believe his parents were William (born in Pa abt 1812) and Catherine Nice. Both died in Marshall Co, Va (WVa).
Interesting side: We have 2 letters written by Melissa A. Leach, my great grandmother & Lillia Bell's mother, in 1864. We also have a ledger written by Summers A. Leach (Melissa's brother) when he was in the Civil War circa 1864. I contains numerous pages (30+) of notes and poems. We also have numerous pictures but I can't remember if Lillia Bell is included in any of them.
