Norsworthy/Connally - TX / OK (Greenville, Sulphur Springs TX, Sulphur OK)

Have never posted here before - so jumping in without my notes on the off chance that someone recognizes this family. (I'm at work, my notes are at home!)

Looking for ties to Jules A. Norsworthy. I believe he was born in GA. He served in Civil War (conf.) as supply master. He lived in Sulphur Spring, Hopkins Co. Texas. I know nothing about his spouse(s). He had several children. One daughter married Lafayette Taswell Connally, b. 1862, one son lived in Greenville TX and managed a theater, and was with the owner and two girls at a lake when they drowned (Norsworthy was only survivor), Another daughter married and moved to OKlahoma. He lived with this daughter for a time before his death c. 1916. (I'm flying without notes here!)

His daughter, Annie Norsworthy Connally, had two sons. One died young (1891-1896) and is buried in Hopkins Co. TX, the other was my husband's grandfather (1893-1974). They lived in Sulphur OK.

I have very little information about this family, but many of you seem very knowledgeable about how the Norsworthy families tie together. I even saw information about a Norsworthy in Greenville, a little later than mine though.

Anything? Thanks for checking. I promise to get my notes out over the weekend and check back in then.

Shelly Kelly
