Yes, the Norsworthy family is a tricky one, too. I have a Tristram Norsworthy married to unknown Ann and they had a son Tristram Norsworthy b. 1667 d. 1725 who m. Sarah Pitts b. 1688 d abt 1725. Tristram b. 1667 and wife Sarah Pitts had a son Tristram Norsworthy, Jr. who died Oct 1810 Isle of Wight, Va. but before he died, he married Sarah Bridges
[Source: William and Mary College Quarterly Historical Magazine, Vol. 25, No.3 (Jan 1917, pp 168-170), "Twenty of the land owners had 500 acres or more: Thomas Scott 500, Samuel Wilson 800, Goodrich Wilson 737 acres and lots, John Jennings Wheadon 600 acres,Lawrence Baker 1175, Nathaniel Burwell 1040, James Dering 750, Richard Hardy 1075, John Harmanson (Eastern Shore) 1260, Joseph Fullgham 510, Brewer Godwin

This Sarah Pitts is of the line I am researching. Sarah's parents were John Pitts who married Olive Hardy. Right now I am trying to get John's life straightened out since he appeared to have had quite a few wives; Hannah Slockley, Sarah Moone (I kinda believe she's the one who had most of his children, but will have to wait and see) and then he married Olive Hardy in 1680. Poor little Olive had already had two husbands; Giles Driver in 1658, John Bromfield bet 1677-1678 and then she married John Pitts 02 June 1680. After John died she then married Andrew Monro Monroe after 1680. Women surely had a tough time of it in those days! One's enough for me!
e-mail me direct if you wish!
Best regards,
Lib Pitts
