Looking into the possibility of Mary Springer who married Henry Norsworthy being Isham Meadows wife-
It looks like there were several Springer- Meadows marriages in Greene Co GA where Isham last paid taxes before coming to AL . Ann Springer married a Meadows in Greene and Twigg Co GA. She was last known as Mary Springer in 1840 when she got a dismissal from her church (to marry Isham?). I donīt know-seems kind of late to be marrying Isham Meadows.

Mary Springer and Henry Norsworthy

9/3/1801 Md. Henry Norsworthy, Greene Co. GA (Marriage records of Greene Co. GA) (Some records show the marriage date as 10/3/1801 -- and Ray Norsworthy of Washington State, a descendant of Pressley Norsworthy, says that Henry was a
resident of Oglethorpe Co. GA at the time of this marriage.
1803-1807 Husband taxed in Clarke Co. GA. (Clarke Co. Tax Records)
1809 Taxed in Greene Co. GA (Greene Co. Tax Records)
10/25/1811 Both Henry & Mary received as members of Stone Creek Batist Church, Twiggs Co. GA, where Mary's sister, ANNA SPRINGER MEDDERS & REUBEN MEDDERS (Meadows)were also members. (Stone Creek Baptist Churh from 1808-Minutes)
8/27/1816 Henry Norsworthy excommunicated from Stone Creek for drinking. (Church Minutes)
1818 Tax Digest, Twiggs Co. GA, Bullocks Dist. (Abstracts of some Documents of Twiggs Co. GA by Eleanor McSwain.)

1820 Henry Norsworthy of Evans Dist. (where the widow ANN SPRINGER MEDDERS (Meadows)and her children lived) Twiggs Co. GA drew Lot #481, Dist. 13, Irwin Co. GA. (1820 GA Land Lottery)

8/23/1823 MARY NORSWORTHY receives letter of dismission from Stone Creek Baptist Church (Church Minutes) 1827 Someone accepted the NORSWORTHY land in Irwin Co., but there seems to be no record of who did the accepting.

9/1828 MARY NORSWORTHY received as member of Gilgal Baptist Church, Tuscaloosa Co. AL (Gilgal Church Minutes)

3/12/1836 Mary received letter of dismission from Gilgal. (Minutes) 4/7/1836 Mary received by letter into Big Creek Baptist Church, Tuscaloosa Co. AL (Big Creek Minutes) l/l/1837 Mary received a letter of dismission from Big Creek Church. (Church Minutes) 1840 Tuscaloosa Co. AL Census. There's a listing for Robert Jamison who, according to Carolyn Rockwell, a descendant of Triston (Tristram) Norsworthy, was MARY SPRINGER NORSWORTHY'S son-in-law, having md. Mary's daughter Ann. This listing is as follows:
Robert Jamison Males: 2 15-20; 1 30-40 Females: 2 10-15; 1 60-70
(The 60-70 year old in this listing is very possibly MARY SPRINGER NORSWORTHY who, following her daugher Ann's death, went to live with her son-in-law.) Carolyn Rockwell gives HENRY & MARY SPRINGER NORSWORTHY'S children as Mary Norsworthy (who md. Job Springer III in Tuscaloosa Co. AL 17 September 1829); Ann Norsworthy (who md. Robertt W. Jamison 30 June 1827, Tuscaloosa Co., and who had d. by 1830); Permelia Norsworthy (who md. William Henry Jamison in Tuscaloosa Co. 6/30/1827), (another) Mary Norsworthy (who md. Felix Oswalt in Tuscaloosa 19 September 1929 - with one of these Mary's probably belonging to Henry's first wife);and L. Norsworthy (who was a clerk pro tem on 13 July 1833 in the Gilgal Baptist Church).

Both Carolyn and Ray agree that Henry had been md. before he md. MARY SPRINGER NORSWORTHY. In 1790 he was living in Northampton Co. NC. In his household were two males, one over 16 and one under 16, probably Henry & his brother Samuel, b. 1776. There were 5 females, probably Henry's wife, his mother Ann, his sisters Lyddia and Keziah (Kissy) and his daughter (possibly named Winifred). Ray believes that Henry had daughters Permelia, Ann and Mary and son Truston (Tristram) by his first wife and that these four children were living in 1810 in Johnston Co. NC with Henry's brother Samuel; and that these same four children went to AL with Samuel between 1824 and 1831. On 13 April 1792 Henry sold land in Northampton Co. NC; on 9 February 1796 Henry and Ann (his mother?) sold land in Northampton; from 1793-1797 Henry was a patroller in Johnston Co. NC. Then he disappears from the records and doesn't appear again until his marriage to MARY SPRINGER in Greene Co. GA in 180l. Both Carolyn and Ray also agree that Henry was a brother of the Samuel Norsworthy of Tuscaloosa Co. AL. They were sons of John Norsworthy (d. 1789 Northampton Co. NC & Ann ? (See charts of John's ancestors back to 1522 when the family was in Widecombe, Devon, England.)
