Thanks for the reply. I have fleshed this out some. I already had information about Martha E Boothe in my data.

Martha was born abt. 1838 in AL. A daughter of John Sherrod Boothe and Mildred Thorn. (Mildred is the M. Boothe in the 1880 census.)Martha's first husband was Thomas J Winters (b. 1832). Their youngest son was Martin E. Winters (b. 01 Sep 1861 in AL, d. 25 Jun 1961 Phenix City, Russell Co, AL).

This late in life marriage makes sense: Pressley's daughter-in-law (Mary Ann Armstrong) had a sister Nancy Elizabeth who was married to James J. Norsworthy (Pressley's son). We do not know the extent of the relationships between these families, but obviously they knew each other.
