I am looking for information on Martin V. Barnhart. According to his tombstone in Carson City, Nevada, he was born in Indiana on February 16, 1849. He was shot to death in a duel in the Ormsby House in Carson City, Nevada, on February 2, 1866. He was a member of the fire department along with a George Barnhart, perhaps a cousin.
