(Nye County)

Lani, Victor record 913 age 5 born Manhattan, Nevada birth date 12/11/1912 parents living. Discharged 9/14/1928 of age (Nye County)

Lani, Dorothy record 914 age 3 birthplae Goldfield,Nv birth date 9/18/1013 parents living (Nye County)
Discharge 6/18/1929 Indentured: Father location Bishop California

**I assume by Nye County thats were they were living when they entered the home. Orphans home was in Ormsby county (Carson City, Nv)

The Orphans Home stage an interesting program Christmas eve. Program was started by the singing of all the children. Dorothy and Victor Lani, talented young vocalists sang "Why should I cry over You"

Sattley, Calif. - Raymond Louis Lani, a long-time Sattley resident, died in Sierraville Sunday of an apparent heart attack.
He was born October 18, 1909 in tonopah. He was a member of the Calpine Elks and Eldrid Scroeder Post VFW of Loyalton, and was a retired employee of the California Division of Highway.
He is survived by his mother, Francis Gonzales, and a sister, Dorothy Bufi, both of Jackson, Calif.; and a brother, Victor of Idaho.
