The Orphans Home stage an interesting program Christmas eve. Program was started by the singing of all the children. Dorothy and Victor Lani, talented young vocalists sang "Why should I cry over You" Nevada State Journal (Reno) 1932 November 18 page 9 Raymond Lani, former Carson City high school athlete and graduate, spent yesterday here greeting old Friends. The young man is now employed near Bishop in the construction of the aqueduct for the city of Los Angeles. Reno Evening Gazette (Reno) 1970 October 21 page 8 Raymond Lani Sattley, Calif. - Raymond Louis Lani, a long-time Sattley resident, died in Sierraville Sunday of an apparent heart attack. He was born October 18, 1909 in tonopah. He was a member of the Calpine Elks and Eldrid Scroeder Post VFW of Loyalton, and was a retired employee of the California Division of Highway. He is survived by his mother, Francis Gonzales, and a sister, Dorothy Bufi, both of Jackson, Calif.; and a brother, Victor of Idaho. This is a little late from your posting and I hope you get this.
