David Ernest and Marie Fanning NV/AZ area

I am trying to get past my brick wall and any help would be appreciated.

I know the following:
David Ernest Fanning
m/
Marie Monroe

They are said to have died young. There were 4 children:
Lynn Owen Fanning 1939-2000
Gayle Fanning (M)
Ernest Fanning
Florence Fanning (adopted )
Leona Fanning

Family oral history has it that they were raised by an Aunt Leona after the parents died in the Arizona/Nevada area.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
