Thomas Gurr born abt 1780, Chatham, W. Kent,England. Died Mar 4, 1865 , married Martha. They came to LaSalle Co., Ill with their son, George Gurr b. 1824, who married Eliza Brayton, dau. of Sanford Brayton. They had 8 children.
1. Anna Gurr & Joseph Hallstine had one daughter, Lois (Newstrom)
2. Viola Gurr and Theodore Springer had
Six children, Jessie Skinner, Fred, Herbert, Earl, Cecil, and Myrtle (this line is in Nebraska and Texas.
3. Ella Gurr and Burt Beardsley had two sons, Charles and Floyd who lived in Ill.
4. Josephine Gurr and Richard Sauer had three children in Ill.
Leigh A., Sheldon J., and Viola F. Barclay 5. Maude Gurr and Benjamine Cullen had No children.
6. Stephen Gurr & Clara had three children: Edna, George, and Mayme.
6.1 Edna Gurr married Orion Bennett and lived in Sapulpa, OK. They had two daughters: Hazel and Nell.
6.2 George John Gurr who married Louise Ann Kiefer in Burleigh County, North Dakota.

6.2.1 Bernice Mae Gurr who married John Franklin West, Bernice Mae (Gurr, West) Westphal is buried in Mission Cemetery,Santa Clara, CA -along with her father, George Gurr. Her mother, Louise Ann Kiefer Gurr is buried in the Catholic Cemetery in Santa Clara. Bernice and John West had two children: Betty Jean West b. 1926 and Harold Dean West b. July 1928 - d. Jan. 2001.
6.2.2. Frances Betty Gurr who married John Wilson - Frances is buried in Las Vegas, Nevada. Frances was childless.
6.2.3. Ronald Stephen Gurr had one son.
6.2.4. George John Gurr who died in San Marcos, CA. George was childless.
Daughters: Edna Gurr & Mayme Gurr
6.3 Mayme Gurr (daughter of Stephen Gurr) married Charles Wood, but died soon after their marriage - no children.
7. Mayme Gurr (sister to Stephen Gurr)never married.

Cullen, Benjamin F., born 1864. Died 1929.
Cullen, Maude (Burr) (Mrs. Benjamin F.) born 1869. Died 19__. Date was not inscribed on gravestone. I assume she died after her husband who
died in 1929.??
Stephen Gurr born 19 Oct 1853 - died 18 March 1937 per death certificate - died in Norman, OK, is buried at Bixby, OK.
