I am researching the Ole and Mary Ann Dickson Hertervig family back in the middle/late 1800's. The Hertervig family homestead was located at 12-41 59th Street, Boro Park (Brooklyn, NY). This would be the Bay Ridge area where many Scandinavians settled when they emigrated to America. Ole and Mary Ann had five children: Elizabeth, Margaret, Georgianna, Ole and Laura. Ole and Mary Ann Hertervig are my great grand parents. Any information on the Hertervig family and/or the homestead address would be much appreciated.
