Terry,

On the 1860 census there is a Thomas Nicholas family in Hanover, all born in England, inlcuding Elizabeth, age 8. I can`t find her or her family anywhere on the 1870. Also in Hanover in 1860 is a William Nicholas family. William & wife Mary were born in England as were two of their five children. I`ll paste the index info. below.
