There is a William Simpson, b. 1864, on the 1870 & 1880 census in Chenango Co. In 1870 he is in Oxford with Warren & Alma Simpson & in 1880 in Preston with William & Alma who are listed as his parents. I`ll paste the 1880 below. It`s from http://www.familysearch.org/eng/default.asp At Ancestry.com there is a Public Member Tree posted by robertcrowther57(his user name)that has William A. Simpson b. 1864 m. Hannah & had George E., b. 1900. William`s parents are given as Warren Simpson & Alma unknown.
