I am posting in hopes someone else is working on this line and together we may be able to go forward. The Joseph I am working on is the grandson of Michel Beaudoin and Marie Dupuy and the son of Toussaint Beaudoin and Marie Gagne. Joseph, son of Toussaint and Marie, was born 1772 in St. Constant. In 1803 in St. Constant, Joseph married Rose Beauvais, she was the widow of Joseph Reaume (he died 1803). Joseph Beaudin and Rose had son Joseph born in 1813. On his birth record there is a word and it might be Metis. I have found a total of three childre born to this couple, Hubert, and Theostiste were the other two. Did this Joseph born 1813 move down to Clinton County? I have followed the nieces of this Joseph (born in 1772) to Clinton, Plattsburgh and St. Peter's. These nieces were the daughters of Michel Beaudoin and Marie Josephte Deeault. Michel born 1770 and Joseph born 1772 were brothers. Will be happy to exchange all I have....Thank you. There are three Josephs (with various spellings of Beaudoin)in Clinton about 1830-1850. One in Plattsburgh,(I know this is my Joseph), Ellensburg and Saranac. Anyone working on any of these lines?
