Morning Sandy! Did you get any sleep or have you been on Drouin all night? <G> I hope that Gloria will find something in the records she has there. I'm not sure what else to try except to post on the Essex County forum and see if anyone knows what records are still extant - I don't know that they have published like Clinton County has. Given the fact that Esther's parents were in the county in 1833, and she was likely 15-17 years old, the marriage might have taken place in the US. The only other *iffy* place I can think of is St. Joseph's in Burlington VT. Missionaries came over to perform sacraments then recorded them in their home parish registers. From prior attempts, it is VERY difficult to get ANYTHING from that church. They guard the records like Ft. Knox! Bev Notify Administrator about this message?
