I am tracking Patrick Caffrey and wife Cornelia through the census records. I found a marriage record of Leonare Turner to Patrick Caffrey dated February 2, 1851 at St. John's Plattsburg. Witnesses were Pierre Turner and Celeste Turner.

Are the people above related to my Celeste Betourne also called Sally Turner married to Edward Thompson. She and her family are listed in 1870 Plattsburgh census. On her death record it says her dad was Peter Turner and mother Mary Seymour (could be Simard in French records). The Cornelia Caffrey might be the sister of my Sally. See above marriage record of Leonare Turner and Patrick Caffrey. Celeste and Pierre Turner were witnesses. I have more that points to Cornelia/Lina/Leonare being the sister of Sally/Celeste be happy to share that with anyone interested. There is some connection between all these people, don't know what it is but will keep working at it.
