I have some information on the Blow/Bleau/Blau family. The earliest Blow I have in the family is Emma born 1867 and married to Moses John Rugar.

There is a brief history of French-Canadian families settling in upstate NY and VT. In this is a compilation of family names and the changes. For instance, my family went from Dandurand to Mashtare/ Marcheterre etc.

You can go into Google, put in Blow/Bleau and somewhere on there will be a link. This will have marriages, births and death notes. Some of it is hard to follow but I think the information was copied from years of old records. There is about 100 or so names.

I have a printout of the family but at the moment I can't find it under all the notes on my desk and I have found a lot of information or at least a link in a puzzle.

If there is someone in particular your looking for, contact me and I'll see if I can find it. I have shaken the family tree and gotten back to 1680.

One of the problems I've incountered is linking Moses John Rugar's father. It's supposed to be John, but I can't find any proof---then again which John.

Hpoe this helps.
Kathy
