Thanks to the LDS site and their posting Philadelphia death certs from 1803 through 1915, I have found my great great grandfather, John Harvey.
The reason I couldn't find him all these years was that the family was originally in Hudson, went to Philadelphia in the late 1870s and after he died on 2/24/1892 in Philadelphia, PA, his body was sent back to Hudson, Columbia County, NY for burial.
The family came from Ireland. John and his wife Margaret were married at St Mary's Church in November 1856. Seven of their nine children were born in Hudson and baptized at St. Mary's.
Would St. Mary's know in what cemetery he is buried?
