Peter Welden/Weldon, husband of Jerusha Steele, is the son of Abraham Welden & brother to Jacob, Warren, Polly, Sally & Betsey, all born Salisbury, Litchfield Co, CT. Peter & Jacob relocated from Sheffield Twp, Berkshire Co, MA as young men to Walton Twp, Delaware Co, NY. Who were the children of (1) Peter Welden & Jerusah Steele and, (2) Jacob Welden & his wife Lois McCall. Also, how might Hiram Welden of Walton Twp, Delaware Co be related? Hiram does not appear on Census for that area between 1830 & 1860. However, he witnessed land transaction between Jacob & Peter Welden (brothers) in 1832. In 1833 Asael Steele deeded land to Hiram Welden and in 1843, Isaac Steele deeded land to Hiram Welden.
