Could Samuel have died by 1806? At NEHG there is a will for Jabez dated 11 Apr 1806, looks like probate 1810, names 5 married daus, plus one I can't read, 4 sons, heirs (named) of son John, desc., & heirs of son Samuel desc (not named). A tree at Ancestry suggests Jabez' wife was Tabitha Jones & names all the children, giving Samuel as b 1765 d 1811 tho. If you think it will help I can abstract it and/or print the will & snail it to you. OK to email me at karimagameel.com Vicky in AZ
