In addition to Abraham Utter (1716-1779)and his immediate family [wife, eight children and a negro]; ten other families left Dutchess County, NY with him on April 5, 1750 to settle in the Wyoming Valley near present day Wilkes-Barre, PA. Their decision to do so was a disaster as the majority were killed in the "first Wyoming massacre" in 1757. Has anyone ever seen a list of the ten families who left Dutchess County with the Utter family in 1750?
