Sue,
I just realized I gave you the wrong given name for Emma Sharlan`s mother. It`s Agnes Robideau, not Mary. Sorry about that! Agnes (sp. Agness) & Joseph are on the 1910 census in Malone under the spellings Robedue/Robedne at Ancestry. That record has their ages as 90. An obvious error. It does say that Agnes has had 8 children and 8 are living. I can`t seem to find them on the 1880 or earlier census when the might have had some children living with them.
