Where are the references to Ira and Huldah Collins living in Franklin County? Or is Chloe Merrell his wife? Ira was the oldest child of Oliver Collins and Lois Cowles. I find Ira living in St. Lawrence County NY in the 1810 and 1830 censuses. His son, Henry W. Collins, was born in that county 1825, so I must just be missing him in the 1820 census. Then the family appears in the 1840 and 1850 Franklin County NY censuses. The 1850>NY>Franklin>Burke census shows Ira Collins, age 66, Huldah, age 67 born MA, Lucind(a?),female age 33 born NY, and George, age 27 born NY, living in the same dwelling. Can anyone help with this Collins family in Franklin county?
