Hello Frances, I am researching a Young Family in Moira Franklin Co. NY. Alexander Young, the son of James and Saloma (Comar) Young married your Maria's sister. Her name was Sally Pierce. They lived and died in Moira, NY. I was under the impression that Sally Pierce's mother was Sally Lawrence. Hope this helps with a little corner of your research.
