After a 38 year search, I found a death record for Crosby L. YOung who was my gr gr grandfather. He was supposed to be a descendant of Alexander Young and Eliza Sneed, Loyalists to Canada with Major Skene. His death record, however puts his father's (James Young's)birth place as Holland Moore, Scotland. James was born about 1793. The family lived at Caldwell's Manor, Quebec, Canada until 1840 when they moved to Moira, Franklin Co NY. Can anyone shed some light on this conflict? Thanks much. Marjorie Bednarek
