Here is a obituary write up for Philomene. It is in the bottom right hand corner. There is birth info about her and marriage, but only states how many years she had been married. It at least indcates the year as 1908. The church for funeral services mentioned is St. Francis Church in Herkimer. They likely married in a church as well-- you might check and see what denomination the St. Francis church belonged to. Possibly Catholic--they usually have great records.
