www.fultonhistory.com may be a start. write to church mentioned, see if they have any thing Albert Pellegrino, 88, of Gloversville, died Tuesday at Nathan Littauer Hospital. He was born on Oct. 15, 1913 in Fonda, N.Y., the son of Marcus Pellegrino and Balbina Compagnana. Mr. Pellegrino graduated from Gloversville High School in 1932 and resided in the Gloversville area most of his life. He was employed by several leather companies in the Fulton County area and retired from the former Pan American Leather Co. of Gloversville. He was a lifetime member of the local Amalgamated Textile Workers Union AFL-CIO where he held several offices including shop steward. He coached Little League baseball and enjoyed a variety of sports. He was an outstanding high school quarterback and an amateur boxer. He also enjoyed playing cribbage. He is survived by his son, Marc Pellegrino of Albany, his son, David and wife Julia of Woodstock, Vt., his son, Stephen and wife Melissa of Gloversville, his son, Karl and wife, Amy of Chalfont, Pa.; his daughter, Lucinda and her husband, Robert Olmstead of Troy, his daughter, Sharron and her husband, Jon Thompson of Gloversville; his sister, Lee M. Pellegrino of Gloversville; several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Sophia, Christopher, Zachary and Jared Pellegrino, Kim Woloszyn, Kelly Masline, Sean, Shane and Joshua Thompson, Adam Esposito, Chantal Schermerhorn, Gabrielle Gable, Nicholas and Quinton Spaulding. He was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Lois B. Harding-Pellegrino; his half brothers, John and Guy Gisondi; his brothers, Dominic and James Pellegrino; and his sister, Marie Campbell. There will be no prior visitation from the funeral home. A celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday from the North Main Street United Methodist Church chapel. The Rev. Dr. Alan Rhodes will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements are by Hollenbeck Funeral Home, 4 Second Ave., Gloversville.
