Dear Gail...if you got a followup from me ten minutes ago...it wasn't finished and if you didn't get it, here it is again...your Aunt Jeanette was the 2nd wife of my G.uncle Veeder James Lasher of Johnstown,NY. Veeder and his 1st wife Anna Eliza Putnam had a son Eugene who died at the age of five...there were no more children of this marriage and there were no children from his marriage to Jeanette. Her birth date in my records is Jan. 26th 1855, Ontario, Canada and she died on 3rd of Dec. 1940 in Johnstown I have no marriage date for them. I have Veeder's will which is extensive as he had a large family of sisters and brothers and left a legacy to them all + all their children. Jeanette's name in the will is listed as Jeanette R.Lasher. Since Anna Eliza was 69 when she died and Jeanette was 10 years younger neither Veeder or Jeanette were, as they say, spring chickens when they married. I'll try to run across a obit for you.
