MATILDA H. WIENINGER
Matilda H. Wieninger, 78, of Jewett [NY], died Dec. 26 at her residence.
She was born July 12, 1915, to Charles and Gisine Meyer Walsleben in Brooklyn [NY].
She was predeceased by three sisters and also her husband, Frederick Wieninger, in 1984.
Survivors include four sons, John Theodore Wieninger of Hunter [NY], William Allen Wieninger of Monroe, N.Y., Kenneth Edward Wieninger of Jay, N.Y., and Frederick William Wieninger of Rockville, Md.; three daughters, Barbara Dolansky of Poughkeepsie [NY], Patricia Lawyer of Ashland [NY], and Wendy Larsen of Windham [NY]; 31 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 30 at 1 p.m. at the Jewett Presbyterian Church. Officiating will be the Rev. David Miller.
Cremation was held at the Wiltwyck Rural Crematory in Kingston [NY].
Arrangements were under the direction of the Aston-Basagic Funeral Home, Main Street, Hunter [NY].
Donations in her memory may be made to the Jewett Rescue Squad.
[Frederick and Matilda Wieninger were buried in the Gass Family Cemetery in Jewett, NY. This cemetery is located next to the home where the Wieninger family once resided.]
