First I would recommend that you obtain copies of both Corydon and Hettie Bushnell's wills and probate papers, especially the latter, because that may answer your questions.
There are errors in some of the information compiled by Ray C. Sawyer on this website <http://www.rootsweb.com/~nygreen2/wills_1871-1880.htm>, which appears to be where you found your information. For example, Songyear should probably be Longyear.
According to page 488 of the "Bushnell Family Genealogy: Ancestry and Posterity of Francis Bushnell (1580-1646) of Horsham, England and Guilford, Connecticut," by George Eleazer Bushnell, Nashville, TN, 1945:
"Corydon [Bushnell], d. Lexington, N.Y. abt. 1878, m. Hatty Ann Deyo dau. of Simeon and Annetje (Westerbrook) Deyo. They had no children but adopted a girl. His will, dated 2 Mar. 1876, probated 7 Oct. 1878, mentions William H. Dayo [Deyo], George H., Iretus D., and Lorilla, children of Gideon Bushnell; Corydon B. son of Uriel Deyo; Walter, son of Aaron Bushnell, Jr.; Trustees of Westkill Baptist Church; and adopted daughter, Gerogianna [that's the way it's spelled here] Deyo Bushnell; Executors, Orlando L. Newton and William H. Deyo; Witnesses, Horace B. Rigg and Iretus D. Bushnell, both of Lexington, N.Y.
His wife's will was dated 12 June 1869 and mentioned, but not by name, her husband, also Georgia A. Skinkle, Minor, known as Georgia Bushnell; sisters Christina, wife of Francis Henderson; Delaney, wife of John Chichester; Charity, wife of Arthur Bell; Betsey, wife of Isaac P. Shermerhorn; and Maria Jane, wife of John Whitman. Also Sarah and Corydon, children of her nephew Pieter Whitman; Hattie A. daughter of her niece Caroline Ann, wife of Isaac Bachman; niece Jessie, dau. of Christine Henderson, and John and Francis Henderson of Kinderhook, N.Y."
Note several spelling discrepancies, no mention of anyone named Benjamin, nor some of the other names listed in Sawyer's abstract, which may or may not have been an oversight by the author of the Bushnell genealogy.
The Deyo (Deyoe) Family, by Kenneth E. Hasbrouck and Ruth P. Heidgerd, New Paltz, NY, 1958, may shed more light on Hatty, Hattie, Hetty or Hettie Deyo's relatives.
